Due to continual expansion, eir evo are currently recruiting for a Senior Implementation Engineer to join our Professional Services team.

As member of the Professional Services Team at eir evo you will be working for a cutting-edge technology company. This position requires strong technical acumen, a deep commitment to end-user satisfaction and excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage:

- Multiple EMC hardware products (scale-up and scale-out)
- Software and hardware upgrades
- Live data migrations – use group of host level based native tools
- Offline data migrations – use group of EMC developed tools
- High availability testing
- Change control management and execution

Key Skills:

- Expert in EMC storage product Dell EMC VNX, Unity, VMAX, Powestore and VPlex
- Experience with EMC SAN switches such Brocade and Cisco
- iSCSI and Fiber channel implementation and trouble shooting
- NFS, CIFS configuration and trouble shooting
- Experience with SAN infrastructure related software such Powerpath, ESXi NMP configuration and administration
- Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical implementation
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead technical implementations and enhancements through to completion
- Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve complex issues independently;
- Detail orientated
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently or as a strong team player
