Data Analytics / Control Engineer

We are working on an excellent opportunity with a global manufacturing company who have an urgent requirement for an experienced Data Analytics / Control Engineer to join their R&D team in North Dublin

They are seeking to hire a developer to help plan, design and develop solutions delivered to leading semiconductor companies across the world

Candidates should have a strong analytical and mathematical aptitude, as designing and developing robust machine learning and process control algorithms is a key part of this role

Initial focus will be on statistical and first-principle modelling projects on semiconductor capital equipment performance using available real-time sensor data and post-manufacturing product data

What you need:

* PhD in Maths, Engineering or Science with strong background in numerical and machine learning algorithm development
* 3+ years' commercial software development experience (Python, MATLAB or C++)
* Experience in the area of control theory, process control, digital signal processing highly advantageous
* Knowledge of embedded software development and design, with experience in distributed embedded controls system very desirable
* Background in Networking/TCPIP protocols applied to industrial automation desirable also
