Ergo are seeking a Deskside Support Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Citywest, Dublin. This is an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend / turn permanent.

The successful candidate will provide deskside support to local users and assist with Access requests on Active Directory.

This is a hybrid role with some onsite requirements (e.g. desktop installs) while IT administration can be managed remotely.

You will work closely with the IT Manager to help set up a new national HQ so hands-on skills around laptop and user IT devices are essential.

What will you do:

* Provide hardware and desktop support to local and remote users
* Add, remove and manage users on Active Directory
* Install end-user devices
* Build and issue / retrieve of Loaner devices
* Videoconferencing and meeting room support
* OS Install, Troubleshooting, Support
* Remote user access with Citrix

What you need:

* Previous experience in a similar role - Deskside Support, Systems Engineer, Hardware Technician, IT Administrator

* Experience with troubleshooting IT systems
* OS installation and deployment
* Hands-on skills upgrading IT hardware - servers, network devices, desktops
* AD admin - DNS, DHCP
* Knowledge of Citrix an advantage
