Responsibilities

* Perform test driven development
* Apply new solutions that are efficient and scalable
* Level of comfort with Java environments
* Build Automated processes
* Delivering products, features, and solutions either autonomously or as part of wider project team for our Irish and European customers
* Process big data sets

Experience & Qualifications (Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge)

* 3+ years Development Experience
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject

Skills

Technical & Non-technical

* Building solutions with AWS systems is essential
* Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Stripe etc)
* Deep understanding of Design Patterns
* Strong security awareness & ability to deploy solutions consistent with security policy
* Knowledge and experience of front-end technologies and frameworks i.e., CSS, ajax, Nodejs, JS, jQuery, React, Vue
* Knowledge of relational DB's (MySQL) is essential
* Understand Test-Driven development
* Experience using Frameworks such as Spring, Zend, Hibernate, Laravel
* Familiarity of Micro Frameworks
* Experience using open source on Linux
* Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible)
