DevOps Engineer required for our Cork based client. This is a fast paced, young, dynamic organization that develops a number of e-commerce web applications, delivering a high-performance system to global users.
As DevOps Engineer you will be working in a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement within an agile development process.
This is a hybrid structure role 2 days in the office/ remote
Responsibilities:
- Develop automated solutions for platform capabilities, under general guidance, to meet Software engineering requirements
- Validate automated solutions using proof of concepts & prototypes
- Research and innovate with new emerging technologies
- Write simple code (low maintenance, extensibility, testability and performance)
- Collaborate with the team to take advantage of new concepts/technologies
- Document all solutions and processes
Requirements:
- Computer science or IT related degree
- Experience with Docker
- Perfect knowledge of one or more modern programming languages (Python, Groovy, Shell)
- Linux Experience
- Experience with Azure, AWS and Jenkins is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
