Senior Frontend Developer – Angular
My client is a globally recognized software company that provides regulatory software for banks, tax authorities and other regulatory authorities. They are currently seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join their team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will develop my client’s software through the full SDLC from requirement gathering through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• You will maintain Angular Front End Component Library
• You will participate in solution design sessions with Solution Architect, Business Analysts, and other developers
• Take ownership over tasks and lead investigation and technical design sessions for new features and components
• Document my client’s technical solutions for new features and training
• Plan and estimate tasks within the SCRUM team
• Implementation of solutions as per technical design for new features and changes to existing components
• You will provide direction and mentor developers
• You will perform code reviews ensuring design standards are adhered to and code quality is maintained
• Test all code ensuring all issues are resolved before development is complete
• You will Investigate and resolve issues in software
• Delivery of high-quality software with little supervision
Requirements:
• Degree in IT related field, or relevant experience.
• Experienced working with Node.js, Angular 2+ (v12 used), TypeScript.
• Knowledge of advanced CSS features like media queries and CSS variables.
• Experience with JS Testing such as Jest, Cypress, Storybook
• Be able to transfer designs from a visual prototyping system such as UXPin (or Figma) into Angular components and styles
• Knowledge working with Git source control system
• Should be comfortable with knowledge transfer aspects of work such as:
• Pair programming sessions,
• Holding MS Teams sessions, to onboard other developers to Angular development workflows
Good to have:
• Previous working knowledge of ASP.Net (Framework/Core/5+) API interoperability with Angular frontend
• Knowledge of PrimeNG Angular component system using and extending components.
• Experience with Angular i18n (internationalization).
• Experience in the development of large enterprise-scale solutions requiring experience dealing with performance and multi-threaded environments.
• Have the ability to comprehend complex scenarios and consider problems from a clients’ point of view
• Have previous experience in the financial software industry or dealing with government agencies would be a plus.
