Our financial services client, based in Tralee is looking for their global SQL DBA team spread across Ireland and USA.

This person will be responsible for day-to-day SQL Server database administration.

You will be joining a global team and will be provided access to excellent training and career progression opportunities.

In this role you will be carrying out SQL Server database administration, configuration, load balancing, performance tuning, backup and recovery, database sizing and space management, SQL and command shell programming, SQL tuning, diagnostics of SQL Server 2014/2017/2019 databases

Requirements

* Previous experience working with SQL
* Strong knowledge of SQL server technology
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
* Strong communications skills
* Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
* Strong technical documentation skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
