TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in Dublin, is taking applications for a permanent IT Project Manager role.
CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN IRELAND (STAMP 4 WORK PERMIT OR EU PASSPORT) AS THERE IS A REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND THE OFFICE OCCASIONALLY FOR MEETINGS/CLIENT MEETINGS ONSITE. THIS ROLE WILL NOT SPONSOR A WORK PERMIT APPLICATION.
The Role
The IT Project Manager will have responsibility for defining, tracking, planning and managing the projects they are assigned. The portfolio will include several small and large projects concurrently. Project delivery can be to end customers, partner channels or internal projects. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating key resources and providing the direction required to meet the project objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
*Project Manage several small and large projects concurrently - These project could include areas such as
New deployments of SaaS products and service solutions
Transition to Managed Services or other in-life support services
Existing customer architecture re-design
Consultancy-led engagements
End-User Roll out projects
*Manage the project Life-cycle from initial design through to deployment, testing, handover and in-life support
*Define project tasks, and resource requirements, develop detailed project plans and action logs to track progress of each project, identify and manage project risks and issues.
*Work with the Project Co-ordinator to plan and schedule project resources
*Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, update document templates
*Ensure that projects are delivered in-line with the project Delivery framework
Skills & Experience Required
*4-5 years of IT Project Management experience (recent/current)
*Project Management Qualification - Prince2 preferred
*Experience preferably with Systems Integration or IT Services Organisation (SaaS Environment)
*Ability to lead, motivate and encourage teamwork, know when to involve others and when to ask for help
*Excellent Sharepoint/Onedrive skills as well as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint
*Technical understanding of IT Products/IT Services
*Fluency in English - excellent verbal and written communication skills
*ITIL Certification would be an advantage.
