We are currently recruiting a Senior Manager, Delivery Excellence.

As a key role within the PMO the DX Manager will be responsible for driving gross margin improvements on Codec’s client
projects, which is a key strategic priority for Codec’s Operations plan for FY22. The role will be banded as a Master Practitioner
on the Codec Career path and will report directly to the PMO Practice Lead. The position carries a competitive salary with the
opportunity to earn additional compensation through our generous bonus scheme.
Main areas of responsibility:
1. Manage of all aspects of a project from initiation through to operational support within timeframe and budget expectations,
including fixed price contracts.
2. Having clear understanding of gross margin at point of sale and at commencement of project
3. Reporting forecasted gross margin across all projects and producing relevant data and analytics
4. Working with project managers to understand challenges where forecasted margin sold margin and producing action plans to
5. Work with the Head of PMO to support Project Manager’s in their role and increase morale.
6. Work directly with finance to mange cash flow and the invoicing of WIP as per the agreed timelines and ensuring Change
Requests are maximized to address any scope creep on projects.
7. Working with Head of PMO and P&L owners to deliver accurate revenue forecasts
8. Providing updates to the Operations Plan Director as per the Ops Plan for FY22
9. Supporting Head of Operations in Programme Assurance meetings
10. Producing reports, data and trends as appropriate
11. Identify appropriate opportunities for process improvements across the PMO and work with the Practice Lead to implement same.

Essential Experience

• You can demonstrate a clear understanding of Commercials related to project delivery.
• You will understand the implications of contract schedules and their impact on project deliverables, ensuring these are considered at all points within the project lifecycle.
• You will have a strong background in Project Management methodologies and have strong IT Project Management experience
• You will be thoughtful, considered, and understand that
different projects need to be delivered in different ways
• You will have worked with large enterprise organisations delivering business applications projects and understand the needs of these organisations
• You will have worked under pressure and to tight deadlines, but you will know how to manage projects to minimise negative impact, maintaining control throughout.
• You will be an expert at planning and re -planning as needs and requirements change
• You will have demonstrable experience of negotiating skills with regards to managing the change process.
• A recognized PM qualification / certification would be an advantage but not essential

We don’t expect you to know everything about the specific technologies we are delivering. Some of the technologies are so new, we are still learning them ourselves!
