Working in a Microsoft Technology, mature agile / Scrum environment, you will be heavily involved in the design & development of financial software products across the full stack. These Software Applications assist Financial investment organisations and asset managers to make better informed & smarter decisions.
Working in an experienced, dynamic, fast-paced software development environment - designing, developing and maintaining multiple web & windows applications. As a Senior Developer, you will be involved in the full SDLC, engaging with Technical Business Analysts & providing innovative insights, software architecture design & development skills to both enhance existing software products and to develop new products from scratch.
Software applications are being developed in the latest versions of .NET core, SQL server and related technologies, with some legacy applications support.
For this specific role, you will be engaged within a new Global Re-platforming project which will entail working on the next generation products and immersing yourself in .NET core, microservices and Azure Cloud solutions.
We are looking for innovative, creative, logical and smart Senior software engineers to design & develop the next versions of our web applications, designed for, & deployed in, large organisations across the world. In addition to strong Technical skillset, communication skills are also very important as our software engineers will be engaging with various internal technical & business stakeholders.
The company is currently embarking on a sustained period of investment in technology that will enhance their market-leading products, utilising microservices and cloud technologies (Azure ideally or AWS).
Experience & Skills required:
* 10+ years experience in software design & development within a Microsoft Technology environment
* Programming expertise in C#.NET, .NET core, SQL server and some of: MVC, Web API, Web Application development, UI/UX, Design Patterns, Schema Design, Solid, TDD, Restful web services, Frontend and backend development expertise
* Azure Cloud Development experience
* Software Product Design and Development expertise
* Expertise in Software Architecture and best standards in relation to Software Technical Architecture
* A proven track record in permanent employment - not looking for contractors
* Experience working in cross-functional development teams
* Agile / Scrum
* Innovative, creative and logical thinking / critical thinking & problem solving skills
* Fluent English & strong communication skills
