Job Title: Full Stack Engineer
Rate: €375 Per Day
Minimum Relevant Experience - 7-11 yrs
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract Term: 6 Months ( possible extension for longer tenure)
Start Date: Immediate
Note: 3 Days WFH & 2 Days Office (Due to COVID19, currently remote work(WFH) is permitted until restrictions lifted)
Our client is one of the leading player in Healthcare industry who strives to make our world a healthy place by offering a wide range of products to its customers. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Full Stack Engineer who will help us in developing modernized web applications. Delivery includes first time implementation and post implementation support. As the Senior Full Stack Engineer, he must play an integral part of the design, build and roll out of an exciting new Pharma Data product offering and will be joining a highly collaborative and fast-paced agile team.
Responsibilities:
* Perform all phases of software engineering including; requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing
* Design and implement performance and operational enhancements
* Design & Develop reusable components, patterns, and frameworks, encouraging innovation that will enable team velocity
* Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and performance improvement
* Conduct design and code reviews to ensure that developed code meets software engineering best practices and guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines
* Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
* Work with a team of software engineers for one or more Agile scrum teams assigned to work on the project
* Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and design solutions as required
* Design, code, test, debug, and document software, whilst enhancing existing components to ensure that software meets business requirements
* Work very closely with architecture groups to drive software solutions
* Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership
* Collaborate on design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside of the scrum team
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field/equivalent experience
* Strong Java development experience, working with Spring/Spring Boot
* Software product development experience working on commercially available software
* Experience using modern software engineering and product development tools/techniques including Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, DevOps etc.
* Experience with REST/JSON APIs, CLT, Micro services No-SQL Data Stores, Docker
* Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API management platforms and API related activities
* Experience working with Public Cloud technologies (such as AWS, GCP or Azure)
* Experience developing applications on Linux environments
* Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API management platforms and API related activities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Good understanding of Micro services architecture
* Experience with Kafka
* Experience with Automation Frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, SOAP UI, Neoload, Spock, Groovy
* Ability to establish repeatable processes, best practices and implement version control software in a Cloud team environment
* Good understanding of GraphQL, resolvers
* Experience/exposure to API integration frameworks
* Experience in the healthcare industry
