Job Description

How can you contribute?

As a Technical Architect, you will gather and coordinate business requirements on all applications for intersecting libraries. You will also collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to create high-level functional designs that will guide the development teams. The function will involve designing solution architecture based on functional and non-functional requirements. Your recent experience will still have you working very closely to the code to not only design and architect solutions but also participate in implementation alongside the development team.

Your experience with enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachmann) strategies will enable you to design solutions aligned to the future architecture state. 

Other key functions related to your role as a Technical Architect will include: coordinating with senior developers for the design of technical solutions; documenting solution architecture; and ensuring the design is understood and implemented.

You will expect to travel up to 10% of the time in this position.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You will have over 10 years experience in software development and delivery coupled with solid design/development experience. You will have worked with large/complex applications with a particular focus on the Microsoft technology stack (with a particular focus on the Microsoft technology stack (.net, SQL Server, Azure DevOps).

It is critical that you have 2+ years of experience with cloud implementations and adoption (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and over 3 years experience as a Technical / Solutions Architect with a focus on service oriented architecture (SOA).

In addition you will have experience with:

• Micro-services and event driven architecture
• Removal of bottlenecks for scalable architecture
• Automated CI/CD practices
• Agile software development
