VOIP and Networking Engineer Ireland Remote

I am looking for experienced VOIP and Networking engineers to join an expanding company to help with both Project and Operational work. If you have over 3 years of experience and can handle complex ticketing issues and act as an escalation point/ mentor to your junior colleagues this role is ideal for you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Operation and Maintenance for a wide range of telecommunications systems.
* Perform system monitoring, daily checks, corrective action, system refreshes, hardware replacements, software upgrades, and application modifications
* Take part in technology trials and proofs of concepts for telecommunications solutions in conjunction with the customer requirements.
* Evaluate, analyse, install, test, configure, and administer networks, infrastructure, and applications as well as providing a full range of testing, administration, and quality checks.
* Delivering small projects assigned on time, within budget and to scope.
* Interact with customers over phone, chat, email, or video, identify the issue and find the solution to the problem and ensure that the KPIs and SLAs are met.

* Management and maintenance of core VoIP stack.

Key Requirements:

* 3 Years of experience within a similar field
* Knowledge with SIP/SDP/RTP protocols and codecs.
* Experience with IP networking - particular where it applies to VoIP and QoS.
* Security experience with VoIP networks and Firewalls
* Strong problem solving mindset
* Can work alone or as part of a team
* Experience with Juniper, Cisco, Avaya
* Load balancer experience would be a plus
* Driver License desirable
