IT Operations Analyst required for a global financial services company. The IT Operations Analyst will join an expanding team that acts as the bridge between internal and external IT Teams managing major IT incidents and following through to their resolutions. The ideal candidate will have a background working in a large scale IT Operations environment with excellent communication skills. What is involved:

• ·        Support Team functions as necessary with regards to major IT incidents
• ·        Perform analysis as required on business metrics
• ·        Liaise with internal Support teams and External IT Teams and make necessary recommendations on process improvements
• ·        Supporting Problem Management post incident to reduce ongoing operational risk

What is required:

• ·        2+ years’ experience in an IT Operations role or recent IT Graduate
• ·        Experience in a large scale IT environment is a bonus
• ·        Demonstrate a good understanding and ability to follow ITIL standards
• ·        Working knowledge of the following;

                              -Microsoft Windows,

                              -Red Hat Linux,

                              -Databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle)

• ·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• ·        Strong motivation to meet the needs of the business and continually improve on the standards of the teams assigned tasks
