Senior Automation Tester required for cutting edge software house in Cork that develops complex algorithmic trading solutions for global customers. The Automation Tester will work with the latest tech frameworks & methodologies while also building an incredibly strong culture that’s built on openness, transparency and giving people the responsibility to contribute on a team, company and group level.

What is involved:

·        Develop and execute automation test suites

·        Define and plan test cycles and ensure test quality

·        Coordinate test activities within the scrum team

·        Liaise with developers to ensure resolution of defects

·        Production of test progress status and reports

·        Review and plan future automation test stack

What is Required:

·        3+ years experience in an automation testing role

·        Working knowledge of LINUX/UNIX and Python (bespoke Automation tool developed in Python)

·        Experience in functional testing of high transaction, low latency systems

·        Understanding of various database technologies

·        Experience of working within an Agile development framework – SCRUM

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
