Network Security Engineer required for well known multinational based Dublin. This is a rolling 6 month day rate contract. Initially full remote then moving to hybrid 50/50 in office/WFH

You will join a team of highly skilled engineers supporting MPLS core, ISP Services

Day Rates 400-450 / day

Responsibilities

·        Examination of Firewall rule base.

·        Audit rule base with Firewall monitoring tool.

·        Support service identification.

·        Review audit output and propose clean-up plan to optimise rule base.

·        Implement clean-up plan to include MOP creation and deployment of daily changes via firewalls, loadbalancers and routing/switching.

Requirements

·        CCNP or equivalent.

·        Detailed Firewall experience (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortigate).

·        Experience troubleshooting network faults including security incidents.

·        Knowledge of loadbalancing technologies.
