We in PFH are looking for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join on team and work onsite with one of our clients. This is a contract role based in Dublin.

* Provide 1st & 2nd level ICT technical support to hospital users.
* Imaging and Deployment of Desktop/Laptop devices
* Installation of printers and other peripherals
* Installation of Applications and Software as required
* Installation of drivers
* Experience in supporting and troubleshooting hardware and software issues including printers and scanners
* User setup - knowledge of AD required
* Some basic networking knowledge, patching ports etc.
* Logging all ICT Service Desk calls (via the phone, mailbox and walk-ins) on the Call Logging System ensuring all calls are resolved in an effective and timely manner.
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills
* Must be a team player
* Coordinate and liaise with 3rd party vendors providing ICT services to CHI @ Crumlin.

Skills and Qualifications

* 2 years' experience in an IT environment preferably in Windows 10 installations.
* Demonstrate good problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
* Excellent customer service skills with an ability to empathise with users and help them adapt to their new technologies. User experience is key for this project.
* Must demonstrate experience of having an excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite and report writing.
* Demonstrate evidence of production of quality deliverables
