Recruit First IT are currently recruiting for a Software Development Manager/Senior Team Lead to work with a leading client based in Dublin. The successful candidate will have outstanding career development prospects and the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company.
Skills/Experience;
• 3+ years’ Management/Team Lead experience
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer
• Good understanding of various database technologies
• Amazon Web Services or similar
• Experience with Source control software systems & Automation of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of design principles and development best practices.
• Experience in building and deploying at scale in Cloud native environments
• Works well in a time sensitive, mission-critical environment
• Experienced with requirements grooming, retrospectives & daily stand ups
• Team management, 1-2-1 meetings, appraisals, mentoring, code reviews
• Proven ability to develop & deliver IT KPIs and Metrics
• Champion Agile and DevOps working practices
• Knowledge of power systems, energy industry or commodity markets is desired
• Some travel is likely to be required in this role
