There is an urgent need to modernize the healthcare industry to solve major global issues such as the COVID19 pandemic, as well as many other diseases: diabetes, cancer, etc. Our Clients' software is currently used in life-saving work worldwide.
As a Principal software engineer, you will be responsible for applying the proper design principles and patterns to design, implement, and test REST-based microservices. You will work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver business results, participate in all stages of development from design/requirements to system launch within the team, and specialize in creating elegant and responsive user interfaces. You'll also work closely with product and design teams to understand end-user needs, develop use cases/user stories, and then translate them into effective, pragmatic technical solutions.
Technical Skills
* Proficient Java/Kotlin knowledge, with in-depth knowledge of web technologies
* Experience with any or all of the following technologies: MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Hibernate, Apache, Java, Spring, Jenkins, Git
* Experience creating unit tests and following best practice in software design quality and development
* Cloud experience developing and deploying using AWS
* Understanding of software security and designing robust systems
Required Experience
* 8+ years of software development experience
* Previous experience in an agile environment and international/multi-site environments
* Have you worked in early-stage technology companies
* Experience managing or leading technical teams an advantage
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relative field
