We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic and well established Worldwide Organisation. This position is based in Dublin City Centre and you will be reporting directly to the Senior Technical Architect and Infrastructure Team Lead. You will primarily be dealing with the Microsoft Stack with your main focus on Projects and escalated Support.  


This is an exciting role for someone seeking to enhance their existing skillset, offering ample opportunity for participation in on-going Projects (Migrations, Upgrades, New Installations, On Premise and Cloud Infrastructure etc).   

The Engineer must have a strong background in some of the below Solutions, they include but are not limited to the following;  

   
Strong Knowledge on the below;  



·          Windows 2012 to 2019. All Roles and Features. 

·          Active Directory to include RODCs 

·          Exchange 2013 or 2016 and DAG Technologies  

·          SQL 2012 or newer, including Availability Groups  

·          Hyper-V 

·          Clustering – all types  

·          Office 365, Azure and Intune  

·          Dell Servers and SAN Technologies  

.          Networking 

.          Windows10 


Knowledge on the below is a strong advantage;  



·          Commvault  

·          SCOM and Solarwinds 

·          Citrix  

·          Certificate Services 

·          VMware  


Position is 9:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday. Any and all Overtime is fully paid. 


You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position and hold relevant qualifications. You will be self-motivated and ambitious with a strong technical acumen. You will be a strong team player with the ability to take charge of a situation, think on your feet and be decisive and proactive in all that you do. You will be Customer Service focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  


MCP, MCTS, MCSA, MCSE or equivalent qualifications a distinct advantage. 



During the Pandemic the vast majority of work can be carried out remotely if you have a suitable broadband connection and home office facilities. Whilst working from home, you must be available to call to site at short notice for possible ICT related issues. Remote working does not include working from outside Ireland.

Post Pandemic has yet to be agreed, but there is a high likelihood of continued remote working using a hybrid rota based system.
