Our client is currently recruiting for a Websphere Systems Administrator for their Letterkenny office. Working alongside a busy team the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills further and progress their career in a Global organisation.
The person stepping into this Websphere Systems Administrator role will be responsible for following:
* Working through stakeholder interviews and user testing, creation of workflows and schematics, as well delivering information design and click though proto types.
* Develop architectural approach to meet business set objectives.
* Develop diagrams to illustrate architecture and interactions.
* Based on developed architecture ensure project implementation design solutions are met.
* For vendors you must conduct analysis and proof of concept for new technologies and solutions.
* Assess the planning of retirement and existing products as well as the migration of future plans for the functional evolution of systems infrastructure.
* Work with developers and assist with issues with middleware layer.
Key Skills for this Websphere Systems Administrator position will be 3 years experience with one of the following:
IBM’s Websphere ideally, Redhat and IBM’s HTTP Servers, JBoss / Tomcat, Oracle’s ALUI portal or BPM is advantageous.
The systems are rune primarily on Unix and Linux and but some windows knowledge is useful.
