Web Developers x 2 URGENT!

This ever growing multination telecoms company are currently recruitng through Sigmar IT for Web Developers x2. Both roles are for six months and have potential to be extended.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
· A web developer typically participates in both the engineering design and implementation processes, from definition through to acceptance of the resultant software.
· During the course of a development process, the web developer may be called upon to review the design and software implementation of others.
· They may also be called upon to estimate the effort required to implement software components, to validate the estimates of others and to provide regular and consolidated progress reporting, raising areas of risk with a suggested mitigation strategy.
Must Have Skills:
· 3-8 years industrial software development experience post degree gained in the design and implementation of complex software in a team environment.
· Excellent communications skills with the ability to articulate software design and implementation clearly and in detail.
· Track record of developing high quality industrial-strength software to the highest possible standards in a team environment, with a good understanding of the processes required to ensure a quality result.
· Ability to effectively review the design and implementation of software to ensure quality.
· Experience of working with Agile development methodologies.
· Experience of the telecoms industry is advantageous.
· JSP 2.0
· Struts (ideally 2.0) or another MVC framework
· HTML4/CSS
· Javascript (ideally JQuery or Prototype)
· Portlets/JSR 168
· Tomcat/Jboss
· Eclipse
· Maven/Ant
