Experienced Web Developer with proven User Interface and development skills, to join FINEOS Corporation building and supporting FINEOS web based products.
Role:

Working as a member of a development team to deliver rich user interface features for the FINEOS product set.
Working with product management and clients to create innovative designs, wireframes and UI mock ups to support the research phase of the product development life cycle.
Collaborating with experienced JEE developers to implement new features which combine deep functionality with advanced Web2.0 user experience
Working effectively with Test Engineering Team to resolve open product issues in an efficient manner.
Diagnosing and solving user interface issues with product software.
Mentoring of less experienced staff where appropriate e.g. best practices, standards definition and rollout, peer review of designs, code and tests.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, relied upon for critical tasks and accept leadership roles when called upon to do so.

Requirements:
The suitable candidate will possess most of the following.
· Strong delivery experience in the areas of User Interface design and integrating browser front end designs with application server based back end systems
· Experience in the development of large scale HTML based java applications With Excellent knowledge in the following areas:
o JSP development HTML4, HTML5
o JavaScript, CSS and dynamic content
o AJAX Technologies
o XML and XSLT related technologies
o Cross Browser application development
o Web 2.0 technologies and Rich Internet Applications
· Strong understanding of Usability, Human Computer Interaction, and Design Guidelines
· 2-3 years experience developing web based software applications
· Experience in creating graphics and web application mock ups is an advantage
· Working SQL knowledge with one of Oracle, DB2, SQL Server or MySQL would be an advantage
· Some Java / JEE development experience would be an advantage
