VoIP Engineer
VoIP Engineer – London – Voice – Asterisks – Linux – 60k
My client is looking for an experienced VoIP engineer to join there dynamic technology team in Central London. This is your opportunity to work with some of the most cutting edge technologies in the telecommunications space and have key input developing and expanding the existing portfolio of applications.
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration and support of all voice systems, with an assumed data networking background. Working within a team of experienced engineers, you will be responsible for predominately VoIP based services using Asterisk PBXs applications suites such as Unified Communication. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration and routine maintenance of the equipment working closely with service providers and will take responsibility for moves & changes on customer PBX which are in the main managed remotely.
Responsibilities:
You will have an unrivalled technical understanding of the voice infrastructure to aid the provisioning and troubleshooting activities together with a strong IP background. You will take ownership of the installation and maintenance of core voice network equipment.
