UNIX / Linux Administrators x 3 (24×7 large site)

Linux Administrators x 3 for a large production group within a software business where the role will provide support for their UNIX farm/ LINUX environment. You will work on implementation of new technologies, configure and support UNIX and users lists, day to day administration, installations of mySQL & Apache, directory security configuration across multiple large server clusters and deployment of new hardware , maintenance and configuration of Network Monitoring and Management utilities (shell scripting and SNMP) and other day to day UNIX / Debian / LINUX administration as part of a large team. This role offers good promotional prospects and further training in a highly technical organisation.

The successful candidate must have 5 years experience in a large mission ciritical environment with Linux administration with experience using and deploying network monitoring solutions (SNMP including snmpwalk, snmpget, snmpgetnext), Apache configuration, Cisco TCP/IP routing, load balancing, switching and routing technologies. Ideally you will have expertise in at least one of the following languages : BASH, PHP, Perl. Cacti and Nagios technologies would be a big plus but not a requirement
