Trainee Process Technician, Greater Belfast, £16k -£18k plus benefits (Manufacturing and Mechanical)
My Client is a large manufacturing company based in the Greater Belfast area and are now seeking to employ a Trainee Process Technician to work in their polycarbonate Department.
We are looking for eager, enthusiastic and ambitions individuals to apply. The successful candidate will report to the production Manager and be trained in all aspects of lean manufacturing, six sigma processes and TMP Practices.
The role
* Analysis of raw material performance
* Track and provide KPI reports
* Implement improvements
* Troubleshoot machine processing problems
Criteria
* 3rd level Qualification in Polymer Processing OR Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
* Evidential knowledge of windows software – EXCEL
* Strong analytical problem solving skills
* Mechanically minded
Desirable
* Previous production/technical experience
* Experience of exposure to manufacturing practices such as Lean/six sigma/TPM/SPC
