Test Team Lead

My client is seeking a Test Team Lead for their Data Centre based in Dublin.
The ideal candidates will have a strong Life and Pensions business background and an extensive working knowledge of LiFE400, (or of Paxus Life, CLOAS, and MVS). The ideal candidate will lead an IT Test Team.

OVERVIEW
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
•Co-ordinate the IT test team activities on a day to day basis;
•Monitor all work in progress to ensure quality deliveries;
•Development of test strategies and detailed test plans
•Day to day management of specific test team projects;
•Support the Test Manager to establish standards & procedures for the test team;
•Support the Test Manager in sign-off of test stream and support for the release to production.
•Prioritise test team requests and allocate appropriate resources;
•Working with the Centre of Competence (COC) to co-ordinate and manage defect reporting and tracking
•Staff/ peer mentoring;

SKILLS
•5-10 years Life400, (or one of Paxus Life, CLOAS, MVS) test planning, execution and work stream management experience.
•Expert in all aspects of testing, planning, execution, interpreting results and documenting findings;
• Expert knowledge of Test Automation would be a distinct advantage
• 5 years experience in the Life and Pensions industry
•Ability to liaise with technical, functional and business analysts when analysing errors;
•Ability to undertake impact analysis of identified errors;
•Ability to co-ordinate error resolution in co-operation with COC;
•Thorough knowledge of IT systems used by the European Hub;
•Thorough knowledge of European Hub related operational functions.
