Our client is a dynamic software company in the telecoms sector, with a significant presence in Galway City. This is a permanent job, based full in Galway city.
Role:
You will be responsible for a team of experienced Test Analysts and have overall responsibility for improving test quality on an ongoing basis. You will act as an expert advisor and you will provide project leadership in all test aspects across various software projects. Your remit will also include working with the Best Practice team to instigate and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
Educated to degree level you have a deep background in software testing and have prior experience of leading a team of software test engineers/software testers. You have the ability to lead large groups and you excel at leading test strategy. The ideal profile would be circa ten years software testing experience, with five years test leadership experience in large implementation/software development projects, with some background in the telecoms sector. Technically, a background in Rational Test Manager, UNIX, Linux, SQL, Oracle, and Java would be the preferred skill set.
