Our client a market leader in providing solutions to the health care industry has a need for an experienced Test Manager to join their Quality Assurance team.
As well as having proven skills in the area of Test Managing software development teams, you will have demonstrable experience of the following skills
* ISTQB or ISEB foundation certified (or equivalent)
* Experience of working within structured project management environments (eg PRINCE2)
* Hands-on knowledge of industry leading test tools for example; Rational, HP/Mercury and/or Compuware;
* Previous exposure to witness testing and User Acceptance Testing;
* An understanding of, and involvement with, the creation and maintenance of Risk Registers;
* Strong man management experience;
* Good understanding of database environments and tools;
* Experience of closure of testing eg lessons learnt;
* Experience of testing performance and Resilience.
* Ideally you will have worked with in the health care profession in the past, if not you will need to demonstrate that you are adaptable and flexible in your work approach to learn new skills.
This Cheshire based role will include occasional visits to other locations in the Midlands and South East.
