As a member of the Test Lab, the test engineer
• will be responsible for validating SIP trunk interoperability between the different VoIP service offerings provided by Service Providers and products & solutions.
• The test engineer will be responsible for test plan development and execution, test environment configuration and maintenance,
• defect identification and tracking, creation and publication of test results and application notes.
• A solid knowledge of IP telephony, data networking, contact center, and unified communications is desired.
Qualifications:
• 5 years of telecom experience with emphasis on SIP. Solid understanding of H.323 & SIP technology and standards, Session Border Controllers, SoftSwitches, and Service Provider environments.
• Configuration expertise with multiple platforms is desirable, including Communication Manager, IP Office, CS1000, SIP Enablement Services (SES), Session Manager (SM), Voice Portal VP), Meeting Exchange, and IP Phones.
• Some travel may be required.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills required
