APPLICATION SUPPORT – FINANCIAL/BANKING
Role:
An opportunity exists for a bright and enthusiastic Application Support Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will join a team supporting the Equity Transaction Management infrastructure.
The application infrastructure is responsible for:
-Equity Transaction Management Application
-UK Settlements Engine
Candidates must have experience in supporting Financial Services Clients and will be willing and able to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable dealing with their colleagues in the team and related IT groups, as well as dealing directly with business users at varying levels of the organisation.
The role will be to support and enhance core applications working within a team of people situated in Dublin, London, Singapore and Chennai comprising of both developers and analysts.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, be willing to learn new technologies and applications, be tenacious in investigating and resolving issues, be able to drill down to root-cause.
Experience:
Strong experience within the IT Financial industry
Solid exposure to working in a technical analysis role
Background working Middle Office/Back Office arena
Strong Communication Skills (written & verbal)
ORACLE or Relational Database
Pro*C, C or C
