Primary Responsibilities
· Prepare a project scope and implementation plan with the working group
· Develop an effective vendor and stakeholder management plan and oversee the execution of the plan
· Develop and execute stakeholder management and communications plans ensuring effective engagement and communications with all people involved and affected by the changes arising from the project
· Work with the external web service provider and internal stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered to approved scope, plan and budget
· Institute effective project monitoring and controls, including comprehensive reporting on project plan and budget status and highlighting risks and issues
· Manage escalation of issues and dependencies through the Project Sponsor and project working group
Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 5 years I.T Project Management Expertise specifically in website redevelopment
· Demonstration of the candidates previous project management skills including setting up a project, running a project, managing multiple stakeholders internal & external, controlling change, risk management, people management, budget management and monitoring a project
· Operational management/project delivery experience in on-line service/information channels is desirable
o Demonstration of expertise in the area of content management systems and strong knowledge of Web Accessibility Guidelines.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft office applications including MS Project
· Excellent communications skills are essential, including influencing and negotiation skills
· Flexibility, reliability and an ability to work on own initiative are also required
· A relevant 3rd level qualification
· A recognised Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 etc.) is highly desirable
