Technical Services Consultant
Our client is involved in the provision of software solutions and associated value added services including development, customisation, implementation, training, project management and
support. They specialise in solutions for the Health market in Ireland.
The projects undertaken therefore vary from a day or two to install a software package and train the customer to the large-scale implementation of an Electronic Patient Record and/or Business Intelligence OLAP solution. The latter involves some work at the database level e.g. SQL, etc. and the use of various tools to develop a management information solution for customers.
A wide variation of applications and services is used as well as a number of
different platform technologies e.g. Windows, Linux, etc.
The client's services are a mixture of supporting customers from the office and on-site project activities. The type of person we are looking for should therefore have a good mixture of technical, organisational and people skills. The ability to work alone or as part of a team are essential.The role will involve a level of customer liaison and therefore good communication and organisational skills are essential.
The salary will depend on the experience, suitability and qualifications of the person.
Essential Requirements:
3rd level Computing Qualification and 2 years of relevant industry experience.
