XML / XSLT Project Manager – Contract

Our Client has an excellent opportunity for a Technical Project Management to work on a cutting edge project delivering the next generation of Web Search Engineer technology. This is an initial 6 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension

Aside form the Tech Skills below you should have strong organizational/project management skills: Being able to keep track and manage MANY projects, from many different teams. Managing different communication channels with different cultures.

You should be able to break down a relatively complex project into its component parts and think up the best way to tackle the project from several perspectives: time, efficiency, quality etc.

You should have an excellent knowledge of pop-culture and current affairs. A second European language (French or German would be an added advantage)

Tech Requirements
* Strong expertise with XML, XSLT templates etc.
* Excellent working knowledge common productivity tools (particularly MS Office and within Office particularly Excel) as well as have a knowledge of non-standard tools which may apply.
* Web and Search saviness
* Scripting skills necessary, e.g. Perl, javascript – ability to write macros and code in Excel etc. Excellent knowledge of XML and XSL.
* Knowledge of financial systems a plus, e.g. knowledge of SAP.
