Technical Lead
My client an international multi-disciplinary organisation based in Belfast are currently seeking CVs for the permanent position of Technical Lead.
The Role:-
Guide the team through the entire systems delivery lifecycle from understanding of the client’s problem, through to deployment and go-live, including coordination of:
1 Requirements interpretation and creation of technical specifications.
2 Software development.
3 Configuration management, source code control, and release management.
4 All phases of testing.
* Assure deliverables produced by the team, to ensure they meet the agreed quality and architectural standards.
* Support the engagement director, including the production and presentation of reports.
* Work as part of a team to continuously improve the process and techniques used across all Deloitte system delivery projects.
* Support sales activities including leading components of proposals, effort estimation and attending client presentations.
* Work in an advisory role to help our clients improve the productivity and quality of their own systems delivery functions.
* Lead by example.
Criteria:-
* All candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
* A good graduate degree (1st or Upper Second) from a reputable university, preferably in an IT-related discipline.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.
* At least 4 years’ recent experience developing solutions on either Java Enterprise Edition or Microsoft .net platform.
* At least 1 year’s recent experience operating in Technical/Team Lead role for a team developing solutions on either Java Enterprise Edition or Microsoft .net platform.
* Experience of working in a project-based environment, liaising with customers throughout the entire systems delivery lifecycle.
