The Role
Realtime are searching for a talented Technical Architect to design and deliver quality technical solutions providing strong technical leadership. These diverse and challenging roles will involve leading the delivery of technical services and thought leadership to the organisation’s major clients, and providing pre-sales technical and consultative support to the sales team. These are important roles within the organisation and will require mature individuals with a strong technical background coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Specific areas where experience is desirable include:
Proven J2EE and/or Microsoft .NET Design and Application Architecture
Enterprise Integration and Message-oriented middleware
Web Service technologies (SOAP, REST)
Business Process Management/Workflow
Strong working knowledge of RDBMS and ORM technologies
Solution operation and management
Security
System performance analysis and capacity planning
Experience of Requirements Management
Experience of the pre-sales process including estimation and production of bid documentation

Of particular interest are skills in the following areas:
Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics CRM solution experience
Autonomy Suite of Products
Web Content Management in Alterian or MS SharePoint environments
Rich Internet Application Technologies: AJAX, SilverLight, HTML5

A high level of flexibility is required, including willingness to work away from home base.
