An established name in the financial services sector with sites in UK, Ireland, US and China.

The Role

This position will have a focus on technical and product writing, assisting technical and business teams to explain technical information in an easy to understand way for both technical and non-technical users.
From interpreting technology or applications to designing and writing documentation in support of them.
Producing user and implementation guides for software applications, reference manuals, training guides, software demos, interactive tutorials, online help incorporated into software and operating guides.
The TW will also play a key part in the on-going maintenance and development of internal processes within the Programme.

Technical Skills:
• University degree in technical writing or a related subject and at least 2 years’ relevant experience
• Experience of technical writing in a product environment.
• Experience of software development methodologies.
• A track record of successful delivery of tasks to timescales
• Excellent organisational and personal management skills
• Technically competent – understanding and experience of Java and SQL (PL/SQL)
• Excellent oral and written English language skills
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams
• Initiative to work independently & proactively on project activities
• Common sense with a proven track record of delivery
• Must be flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment and business needs
• Payment and Collections experience is desirable
