A Unix System Administrator is needed for our client based in South Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuration, maintenance and ongoing support of the Unix/Linux servers, including the hardware itself and the services that run on it. The candidate will also be required to implement and support OSS tools.
Ideally the candidate would have initiative, an ability to work as part of a team as well as individually and an ability to self-motivate.
The candidate should have at least 3 years experience in a production environment with the following:
· Administration of Unix or Linux systems
· Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle
· Development in HTML, PHP, Perl (CGI-BIN), Java and JavaScript.
· Apache
· SOAP/AJAX
A demonstrable understanding of TCP/IP and Voice over IP (VoIP) would be a keen advantage.
