System Test Analyst

As part of the engineering team you will work with the Linux OS aspects of multi product platform and the migration of shared product features (install, upgrade and process management) from Solaris to Linux.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in producing test plans and test cases
• Compile environment requirements
• Populate database with test cases
• Execute test scripts using automation tools
• Raise defects
• Produce regular Progress Reports to communicate progress being made
• Continually build and improve relationships within the project teams
• Ability to communicate and follow-up on Technical Issues with other Engineering Groups
Desirable Skills:
• Object oriented scripting – eg Python, Ruby
• Eclipse PyDev
• Linux
• Unix Shell Scripting
• Java script
• Jython
• Agile methodology
• Using and administering Linux environments
• Knowledge of HA system design and concurrency
• Ability to lead and drive complex technical problems to solution.
• 3 years technical experience ideally in a Test or Operations role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team Player
• Flexibility and Adaptability.
• Fluency in English required
