Avnet Client Solutions have a 6 month contract, based in South Dublin for a Windows System Administrator.
The role is based on our customers premises in South Dublin.
Sys Admin Min Requirements.
Must have a minimum of four years experience in a wide ranging systems administration role.
Must have a minimum of four years experience in 2 nd/ 3rdlevel technical support.
Must have demonstrable knowledge AND experience of managing, maintaining and resolving issues with ALL of the following:
- Windows Server 2003 R2, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2
- Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 7
- Active Directory: Account management, Group policy, configuration and design
- Exchange 2007: Mailbox management, Active Sync, OWA, Mailflow troubleshooting, Spam filtering (Barracuda)
- Backup Exec 12.5: Backup and restore using full and differential policy based jobs.
- VMWare vSphere 4: VM deployment, configuration, monitoring.
- LAN: Working knowledge and experience of Cisco firewalls, switches, patching, etc.
