Support Engineer
This is an exciting new opportunity to work for the fastest growing vendor in the Telecoms market! Based in the City Centre, this is role offers an excellent salary and benefits + exciting travel opportunities!
Main responsibilities:
* Communicate with the customer to create root cause document when incidents occur
* Install/configure linux systems, third party and the company's software
* Create support documentation
* Execute software tests
* Provision of product training (to customers)
Main requirements:
* Knowledge of Linux administration is a must
* Knowledge of Telecommunication protocols is an advantage
* Networking – TCP/IP routing
* Scripting is an advantage – Perl, Python, Shell
* Basic Knowledge of SQL
* Virtualisation technologies, c/c++/java; cisco switches, itp/stp an advantage
* Strong English written and oral communication skills
