Storage Specialist (Fluent in French )

The Role:

We are currently recruiting an experienced, French- speaking Storage Specialist for our customer based in County Louth.

You will be responsible for providing technical support to the French customer base, focusing on diagnosing, reproducing and fixing software and hardware issues. To successfully achieve this, you will be required to have strong technical skills and experience in storage products, together with knowledge of the hardware and systems software on which they run.

Normal working hours will vary between 7am and 7 pm GMT. Occasional after-hours work, on-call work may be required.

Minimum Experience:
3 years of industry experience in system administration or senior levels of technical support, with strong hands-on skills in storage technology.

Knowledge:
In-depth understanding in the following areas:
• Experience troubleshooting and interfacing with storage systems, both NAS and SAN.
• Experience in storage protocols (CIFS, NFS), back-up applications (Veritas, Legato), and data migration tools
• Experience in working with Windows (NT/2K/2K3/XP) and UNIX (Solaris, IBM-AIX, HP-UX, Linux)
• Hands-on networking experience and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with SNMP and management frameworks such as HP OpenView and Tivoli
• Knowledge of CRM call-centre systems (Oracle) and interface processes

• FLUENCY IN FRENCH IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
