SQL Server Support/ Administrator – to 50K
I have an immediate requirement for an experienced SQL Server Administrator/Support who would have some development and networking skills. This is a fixed term contract of 12 months with a very high possibility of extension.
Essential experience required for the role
•The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in various Microsoft technologies
•SQL Server Administration Working knowledge of SQL – Basic and general T-SQL commands, troubleshooting SQL performance, Analysis Server, Reporting Server and SQL configuration
•SQL versions include 2005/2008
•Active Directory
•Windows NLB cluster management + Windows Cluster Management
•Networking
•Exceptional customer service, communication, problem solving, and technical writing skills are required.
Experience in following technologies will be a big plus
•Product Studio,
•command-line-scripting,
•powershell
•C#
•SAN technologies.
