Our client currently have a job opening within their IT team in Cork for a Sonic Integration Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global industry leader in their specialist market.

Due to continued expansion and growth they currently have a contract vacancy for a SONIC INTEGRATION SPECIALIST within their IT team in the Cork Office.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
* Integrate the Progress 4GL Application server with the J2EE Server.
* Deploy and configure the Sonic ESB and prepare the necessary run books for deployment and configuration as well as the template for Development and Integration standards.
* Work with the development team to work on a blue print for SOA integration of a large complex legacy system written in Progress 4GL with IBM WebSpehere Server.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

* Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science.
* Proven working experience in deploying, and configuring Sonic ESB as well as integration of J2EE applications with Progress.
* Hands on project experience, 3 years successful implementation of Sonic ESB.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in design and development of internet/intranet, J2EE applications using IBM Rational Tools (Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, etc.)
* Prior working experience on integrating Progress 4GL with Sonic ESB is a distinctive advantage.
* Team player with the ability to agree and meet deadlines.
* Previous experience with Progress 4GL Database would be a distinct advantage.
* The candidate must be familiar with SOA concepts as well as working on a large enterprise system design and development integration with multiple satellite system.
