Software Sales Manager
Our client is a dynamic and innovative software company specialising in the development and provision of leading edge software solutions for the corporate energy management sector. Due to continued growth they are now hiring a Sales Manager.
This role is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, highly professional sales candidate to enter a rapidly expanding company operating in a high growth market.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company and play a vital role in its on-going success. The sales manager will take responsibility for sales and provide account management for all existing directly-supported accounts and partners.
The role will be based in the Dublin region and will report initially to the CEO. The successful candidate will be based out of our Dublin office, which is in the Rathmines/Rathgar area of South Dublin but will be spending a lot of time on the road, visiting new and existing clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Achievement of annual sales targets
• Lead generation & marketing activities
• Account management functions
• Partner relations
• Setting and monitoring of annual targets
• Contract negotiations and pricing
• Development of tender responses & RFIs
Candidate Profile:
• Proven success in your sales ability of selling software and services is essential
• Proven experience in managing resellers that sell applications to end-users
• 4 years’ plus experience is required
• Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’
• Comfortable dealing with all levels of management
• Able to operate independently & competently in target markets
• Experience in electrical or energy sector would be a distinct advantage
• Proven experience in tender responses & RFIs
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in lead generation and working closely with marketing activities
• Personable, disciplined and have systematic approach to selling
• Clean driving licence is essential
Package:
A generous salary package is on offer to the chosen candidate. This includes all
business expenses and use of company mobile phone and laptop. A commission scheme based on the annual sales target will be offered in addition to the base salary – the OTE potential is in the order of €60,000 to €85,000.
