Software Quality Engineer – Cork or Galway
Responsibilities:
– Guide teams through the quality management process, and provide consultancy with specific teams for end to end assessments and improvements.
– Project manage cross functional quality improvement initiatives
– Quality metrics analysis
– Enabling teams to drive in-process and in-field quality analysis
– Performing internal process and product compliance reviews at intervals defined in project quality plans.
– Identifying, reporting and tracking any corrective or preventive actions required on the project to ensure to alignment and compliance to agreed standards, plans and procedures
– Support quality initiatives driven by software group and QSE
Required:
Strong understanding of quality principles
Strong project management skills
Good analytical skills
Knowledge/experience of statistical analysis
Change management skills
Attention to detail, confident to challenge current processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills together with good problem solving ability
Strong knowledge of software development processes as well as experience and understanding of different development methodologies such as Agile
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
