Software QA Engineer

Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer required for Windows based developments. You will be involved in a wide range of projects using Microsoft .Net technologies in an Agile environment.

This Software QA role will involve all stages of the development cycle from analysis of customer requirements through design, implementation and deployment.

Coordination with development team
Development, execution and documentation of test plans and cases
The setup, configuration and management of QA environments
Regression, smoke, black and white box testing
An aptitude for troubleshooting in a complex environment
Ability to clearly and accurately communicate technical issues
Experience with Issue Management software such as FogBugz, StarTeam etc.
Manual and automated testing of desktop and web based applications
Experience writing queries against SQL databases
Knowledge and experience of several of the following: Functional testing, Load testing, Unit testing, Regression testing
Hardware experience an advantage
Ability to administer Windows PCs and Servers
Experience in a Scrum/Agile environment

Requirements
Computer Engineering/Computer Science Degree/IT/Electronics Engineering (BEng or BSc, Hons) or equivalent.
2-3 Experience in a Quality Software Engineer role
