Software Manager (Team Lead) Permanent Dublin.

My client a leading US software house is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Software Manager (Team Lead) Permanent to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to be part of my clients technical leadership team that delivers Internet scale user content system to millions of users daily.

My client has a flagship cloud product set that enables its customers to deliver converged rich media services that in turn enable their subscribers to create, store, view and share their digital content in an operator branded environment on mobile, desktop and web.

You will be required as part of your day-to-day management of the Cloud Development group ensure the delivery of the company’s product strategy on time, within budget and to acceptable quality standards. Candidates will manage a group of up to 6-7 staff consisting of you will work with the Server Core Director and Product Management to specify, plan and deliver product goals.

Candidates will facilitate ongoing development processes to ensure the most efficient and quality focused product delivery mechanisms are in place including nightly build systems, Agile methodologies or other industry recognised methodologies. Some of your management duties will include Line management of all team members including ongoing objective setting and tracking, training and development and annual reviews.

Successful candidates will have significant experience of leading software development teams. You will have managed significant product developments for international product delivery. Ideally this product was deployed for large number of users, on a high availability and massively scalable environment. You will also have experience in software development and/or consulting, ideally in Cloud Technologies.
