Software Engineer- Great Role- Limerick

Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to join their Limerick based team. A background in C++ (OO) development is important. Delphi development experience is useful but not a pre requisite.

Requirements:

•Relevant Electronic/Computer Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
•2 – 3 years experience with object oriented programming. C++ or Delphi
•Some experience in digital and analogue design would be a distinct advantage.
•Ability to work as part of a cross functional engineering team in the development
of new features and products.

Duties:

•Development and implementation of Software algorithms in Delphi.
•Support of the current code base for client’s products written in Delphi.
•Development of code to communicate with SQL database.
•Development and implementation of test strategies for testing software
implementation.
•Testing of Software changes in-house and on customer sites.
•Support of Production in-house in the build and testing of equipment – this
includes the writing of SOPs and Performance Qualification documents.
•Support of client’s Service Team in the installation and servicing of equipment
on customer sites – this includes generation of SOPs and PQ documents for use
by service personnel together with phone or remote support during the install.
