Software Configuration Manager

A leading e-commerce business with an international dimension is currently establishing a highly innovative R&D division in Dublin.

There is now an opportunity for a Software Configuration Manager to join this rapidly expanding organisation.

You will be responsible for the entire Release Management Process and will build excellent relationships with external providers in your efforts towards exceptional quality and leading your team to successful project completion.

Key Duties include:

• Definition and implementation of process and control for effective Release management
• Ownership of Release, deployment and configuration of multiple projects
• Management of a release coordination team to ensure effective tracking, scheduling and release control across product lines
• Identification and integration of source control tools to support and provide visibility to the software development life cycle
• Ensuring integrity of content and process of deployments
• Ensuring best practice for build and release management through the entire release management process.

You will have:

• Over 5 years experience within a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Experience in Software Configuration Management or source control
• A proven track record in software development, software build technologies and software change management
• Excellent knowledge of build and release management tools and methodologies
